Title: An End
Post by: Matt on March 25, 2005, 08:43:57 AM
Don't let that little "Fin" at the end there scare you.  Fodi isn't going anywhere.  Instead it's going somewhere.  We're going to archive off the current archives and bring a fresh start to the comic, now that I feel I've gotten to a level of quality I'm at least tolerable towards, if not fairly happy at many times.

So to celebrate (and to give us time to get off our lazy asses and actually finish writing and developing the new story threads), we're going to present you a guest comic week!  Monday will feature a comic from a fellow eyeskream creator and then we'll go on from there.

I still need guest strips!  If you're interested, they must be fodi-related and no more than 720px wide.  The rest is up to you.  Mail 'em to matt at baldninja dot com.

Oh, and here's some plugs for other eyeskream comics:

Boot_Error (http://gfxjunkie.com/) is a deliciously refreshing comic.  It's silly, it's at times witty, and it's got a badass panda.  You can't get better than that, can you?  The art style is also incredibly unique and the comic is very crisp.  Read it.  Its 100th strip is also a blast.

Sarah Zero (http://www.sarahzero.com) is a somewhat futuristic comic set in the present with digital elements as though it were a video game that were chock full of pop culture references.  It's quite a fun read.  The only problem I can see is that someone is trying to save Martha Stewart, my archnemesis. ;)

So does this mean I can get a cameo in FODI 2.0?  :|

You were in the Grummies fillers.  :P  I saw 'em.

And Matt: Still haven't got a working scanner. Guess it's time for me to go do that last-minute sprite fixing.

I fear there's no point drawing if I'm not going to be able to scan it, so I guess I'll just sprite out however many you need, and then if I can draw/scan the stuff later, I will.

There are neither beginnings not endings in the turning of the wheel of time. But it was a beginning.

Yep, and they're not in the archives.  Not official FODI.

Maybe the great Artist can stick you in the background for a cameo perhaps drinking your favorite beverage?

I mean it's not in the archives where I can find it easily.  I have to search for it in the middle of a series.  Also, my original filler/guest comic, though it was featured on the site, is NOT included in the archives anywhere (or I haven't found it yet).
