It seems to me that in the past nine or so days, some "people", including several with the username 2Rulez[five digit number], have registered for the sole purpose of having a link to some website in the memberlist. Is that cause for concern?

There is random crap that gets registered now and then. I sometimes go in and delete them. I'll take a look.

There really ought to be some better way to make it difficult people people to spam up the memberlist.  Do we do email authorization or is it automatic? Hmm..

I usually do a round of deletions about once a week.

That seems to have solved the problem.  No new robots since the change.  Normally we'd have 3-4 new ones by now.
