Always ninja.  Because they can like totally flip out and kill entire villages.  Unless, of course, it's a ninja dolphin... then his opponents are screwed.

Tough question, particularly if the dolphin has a rocket launcher, but I went with ninja because they don't get caught in tuna nets.
