Matt: You're completely right about pants causing nothing but trouble. Which is probably why Anthony Stewart Head went sans pants as much as he could when taping BTVS.
(Yes, I watched the DVD commentary on many episodes. <--- Nerd Boy)
Plus, "reality" is more real when there's no pants involved (ala Fifth Wheel and Elimindate)
