  it (the lovely home featured in the link) may not be in Marina Del Rey, but I suppose it kinda points out the craziness of this area.  I'm glad to be going home tomorrow, where you can buy a whole home for the price of some cars.

Well, at least I'm not psychotic.    I figured there'd be fireworks, since, heck, it is your birthday!  And, since when I met you, you introduced yourself as "I'm Matt, and I like cheese," you might also like cheesecake.  

I'm actually in California right now, and my mom and I watched the fireworks here in Marina del Rey and they sucked be-hind.    The "marine layer" they have (aka, constant clouds) caused all the normal-height fireworks to turn into a simple red and/or blue and/or green glowing cloud.  Good thing the giant crowd didn't turn violent since they sucked so bad - lord knows they have enough violent excitement out here.    Good thing I saw freaking awesome ones in disneyland - did you know they have smiley faced fireworks, and ones shaped like stars and hearts?  They rock!  I even saw cube shaped ones on tv.  I want to see pyramid shaped ones now.    (I am such a dork...)

After all, who am I to call anyone a dork, when I am certainly a major one.  
  And on the subject of the comic, I also can relate to the frisky-roomate situation - not that *my* roomate was (thank god), but my next door female neighbor "role-played" with two different guys on my floor (in one quarter), quite often, even with her roomate sleeping on the bottom bunk.  *shudders*  I'm soo glad she wasn't  my roomate!  People may say there's no sex at RIT, but there are certainly a few girls who make up for the rest of us.

Yes, Sarah was (and probably still is).  And about the smell, it didn't smell too bad when we first moved into the building (although, now everytime I smell fresh drywall or certain industrial cleaners mixed with paint, all I can think of is the dorms, since they weren't quite done with the building yet).  However, after some of the guys lived in them for a while, certain rooms got weird smells.  I attribute it to (certain) guys living together, and not having girlfriends to point out how bad they smell.    He hee.  

Matt, I have to say, your "typical RIT dorm room" is very typical.  You even got the bitchy roommate right - she reminds me of my former roommate Sarah, who even looks like that girl in the comic.  Of course, she was also an award-winning rifle shooter, so I should stop talking about her now.

It's a rochester/RIT thing.  Honestly. Warm/nice weather... tons of good looking women walking around.  As soon as it gets cold (that happens quickly), BAM! You only see plump women around.. And there's much less women in general.

Perhaps when it's warm out, the skinny girls wear less clothing, so no matter where they are or what they're doing, you notice them... and in the winter they just blend in!  Of course, at RIT, maybe they're just people's girlfriends/friends who want to visit when it's warm out there - and distract all the boys.

They own Hanes, too. Why can't I be working with ladies' underwear?  

Yes, but what if what you saw made you afraid, or disgusted, of Ladies' underwear?  

Today I found out that I have really really bad depth perception in my right eye. That wasn't so much fun.

 The reason that you have really bad depth perception in your right eye is that to have depth perception, you need two eyes.  So, of course, alone, your right eye always has bad depth perception...  

Girls do random stuff like that all the time. Today at school my whole English class sat around cutting each other's hair.

But no, I don't like the purple.  I would prefer a different colour... one that is less... scary.

  First of all, I'm glad I'm not an english major, nor do I ever have to take another english class again...  Second, if you're in an english class, but not in england, where'd that u come from in "color"?    

Le Arteeeest? Ok, I know neither of you guys took French, but the grammar hurts my eyes. It is l'artiste in French. I's make E sounds, not E's & it would be contracted. It wouldn't be LE Artiste or in the context written, L'Artiiiiiiiiste. Ok. I'm done. The huge weight has been lifted off my chest.  

 I'm surprised that, with his *love* of all things French, that Steve would even use a french word in his forums!   Well, I suppose it's just to show it's a snooty section, but still!
