Skinhead Hamlet

I posted this on another forum, so Matt may have seen it there, but I thought I would post it here for everyone else.

It's a very short read. It's a modern version of Hamlet and is supposed to be in the spirit of the New English Bible (read: complete bastardisation of the original), which in and of itself is, just... well, hilarious. However, the play actually works in this way. I was directed toward it by my 74-year-old British professor.

But I drew it, dammit!

WE don't know that, though.

Matt doesn't like plates.

I doooooo.  Though, not so much liking the place where we have to go to get them. Creeeeeeepy.

Aaaaaaand, I get to come out to Rochester soonish.  Well, maybe.

P.S. You need to help me find the most perfect camera ever for me so that my daddy can buy it for me either for Christmas or as a graduation present, though I'm thinking it'll probably be the latter.  Apparently the $600-$1000ish range is not a problem, because money is no object when it comes to my happiness.  Although, I got the impression that it's still supposed to be somewhat of a surprise and/or I get taken out of the loop because I am as useful as a 3-legged mule... regardless, I got the impression he wanted you to talk to him about it or something.  Or maybe he wants me to talk to him about it.  I'm not sure, I was shopping, so I wasn't paying attention.  I should probably get clarification on that.

Nope, I lay no claim on that piece of crap, but I did do a bridge project once my freshman year of high school.  Did it for the science fair, "Which bridge is stronger?," and won first prize.  :D

Hey, we did that freshman year, too, for Integrated Chemistry/Physics. Mine snapped like a twig (well, they all did), but it got "Most Visually Pleasing." I don't actually think that was the category, because that phrase is a strict Lindsayism, but it sounds a lot better than, "Prettiest Bridge." Anyway, the teacher stopped before it was massively broken because he thought it was too pretty to completely crush, and he asked if he could keep it as an example for the previous years. I was proud and humiliated all at once. I designed a pretty bridge! But I built a piece of crap! Ah well.

Question 2: Can you explain the ending of Donnie Darko

I've asked everyone else who has professed that this is their "favorite" movie, (big *eyeroll* here) yet come up blank when it comes to explaining the ending without looking like they suffered a massive stroke and then only say, "uh"...."ummm"....."yeah."

What exactly confuses you?

She is a really adorable cat, though.

She really is. Hehe. She tickled your feet with kisses! And you giggled uncontrollably. So cute!
I couldn't sleep last night, and she came in and kept me company. She laid on my chest nuzzling up to my neck for an hour and then she got up and laid on my pillow and cuddled up next to the side of my head and gave me kisses until I finally fell asleep at 5:45 for like 2 hours. She's pretty much the greatest. I was getting extremely frustrated and she grounded me with her cuteness and made it tolerable. It was good quality time.

She wouldn't even have to kiss *me* to death, just put me in an enclosed area with her for awhile, and my allergies/asthma would kill me!  The only command you'd have to teach her for that is "stay".

If there's a person, she comes a runnin'. She's the biggest attention whore ever. So, the whole "Stay" thing wouldn't really be necessary. She'd do so automatically. But, yeah, I can sympathise. I, too, and horrendously allergic to cats. On the bright side, though, she'd probably really feel bad about it.

Everything comes back to cheese, doesn't it?  I almost ended that sentence with an 'eh?' - I've been spending way too much time with Canadians... eh?  :)
I think stupid drivers are everywhere.  When teaching my little sister how to drive, I taught her when to give people the finger - which I don't normally do, but these people *really* deserved it!  They really boil my blood...

I think that's probably a pretty good indication that you've been spending way too much time with Canadians. :) You should watch some John Wayne moobies or something. Must even the Canadian influence out!

Hahah. A necessary inclusion of driver's ed? My own personal method of expressing anger usually just comes in the form of a glare, but if I'm really mad I will flick people off with my ring finger. I cannot bring myself to be so uncouth as to actually use my middle finger (similarly, if verbally expressing anger I will in fact say, "Eff you" or comparative expletive). I did once or twice on accident and ending up gasping out of surprise and then it really just ruined the whole anger thing I had going. I just feel bad using my middle finger, so if I'm really mad or really annoyed I'll use my ring finger. Gets the point across without bothering my conscience or offending my delicate sensibilities. Not many people can tell that I'm using my ring finger because people don't look closely enough, but I know, and it helps me sleep better at night, so that's all that matters. But, uh, that's totally normal, right?

Yeah, on my internship last year I learned that Architects don't mess with all the structural and system details that much either.  They are like indicated on the plans and then set off to the engineers to work it out.  Anyway, the reason why those classes were so hard was because we had to do all of it by hand and memorize all those formulas.  In real life, there are programs that already figure out most of that junk and you can always look up the formulas in your trusty standards books.  The only reason why I could stay afloat in those classes was that I made A's on all the homework and projects.  It was just my exam grades that stunk.

Steve:  :P , I'll be sure not to let you know so you'll always be leery of new buildings.

Ah, ok. That's slightly less scary then.

He'll be leery enough of buildings, be they old or new, as is due to the fact that they have people in them. Because people can only mean one thing -- a blackhole of stupidity just waiting to unleash itself upon him. I never really have this problem, so I'm thinking that they can detect annoyance and they feed off of it, because it seems that it's always him who gets targeted. Coincidence or reality show in the making?

I'm not entirely sure whether I should be contending with the phrasing "normal people" or not. :P I'm thinking I won't, more or less because I'm grossly outnumbered. Although I do have a fierce tiger kitty on my lap ferociously giving me kisses and licking the computer screen. The tongue is like sandpaper. She could kiss you to death. (Still working on the attack command, so until that pans out death by kisses is what we have to work with.)

Yes. I wouldn't know what the word meant otherwise.
