I went and saw it today. I didn't want to originally because it looked terrible, but then I saw a preview of what looked like a good movie only to find out that it was, you guessed it, Transformers. And I heard Tom Lenk was in it... which was practically a lie seeing as he was in it for like 4 minutes. Anyway, I thought it was really good. Fairly funny, too. It was way, way better than the movie I went in expecting to see.

Though, someone brought a little kid who was like 4. Kid started crying and screaming. The movie scared him and all his parents did was pet his head and hush in his hear to try to quiet him. It's not even like it was just the scary stuff that frightened him. He thought the transformers themselves were scary. The first one that appeared resulted in shrieks, and yet they forced him to sit through the entire movie. What in the sam hill were they thinking bringing a 4-year-old to that movie? Seriously. Jackoffs.

Why must I be blamed for everything? :P I asked you like 3-4 months ago, but you were busy and like 400 miles away. It just occurred to me when I realised that it's almost June. Soon you can rid your hands of me and send me 600 miles away. (Aside from that minor issue of me needing your help exorcising my printer, because every time I turn it on it prints out things other than those which I ask it to, and the last time it was an AIM conversation. Thankfully, it only did it when I was there.  I don't need a rogue printer printing out whatever it darn well pleases off of my computer. That could become... problematic.)

And, uhm. I don't do phones. Besides, it might not be Hindi. It could be Urdu. Or Bengali. Or Punjabi.

Steve needs to fix my laptop first. Steve, if you are reading this, you need to fix my laptop first. It's almost June, which means my warranty expires soon, and if Little Nappy does not start reading CDs soon and working the way that it used to, I am going to hurt someone.

Hey, now. I don't normally do the fad stuff. Most are really stupid, but I actually think Facebook can be a really great resource. Really, I'm serious. Maybe I just feel differently than most people because most people go to school within a few hours of home or whatever, but I've been transplanted 1000 miles away from home and it's really helped me to stay in touch with people in Indiana when I'm in Boston and vice versa during the summer and Christmas break when I'm back in Indy. Also helps me get people's emails, phone numbers, etc. when I need to contact them about a party or about schoolwork because I'm not in the habit of asking people for their phone number. I have never had a conversation with someone involving the exchange of phone numbers, emails or AIM screen names that wasn't awkward. Granted, I'm normally the one being asked, BUT IT'S STILL AWKWARD & WEIRD.

I do hate the new Facebook, though. It allows for easy stalking, and that creeps me out. People change ANYTHING and you know. Unless they change the privacy measures, but some people (like yours truly) are too frigging lazy to bother to.

However, you can look up people that you just met or whatever and look at their info and the groups they're in. Helps give you an idea of what kind of a person they are, and makes you realise early on that you should immediately cease communication with them. (The fact that I just said that makes me think that I've been dating a certain someone for way too long.)

The southern US states?  :?

I said religions. Not regions.

And, um, you seriously have not spent enough time in the south. Pretentious New Yorker.  :P

Fashion should not mean a sacrifice in comfort!   :cougaar1:

I honestly think that my world would be shaken if cute things were comfortable. I'm not quite sure that I could reconcile those two adjectives and have them coexist.

Are there any religions out there that say that religion & science can't coexist or enhance understanding of the other? I'm sure there are, but off the top of my head I can't think of any.

You know, you'll probably be less inclined to work if you work from home. Homes have beds.

Ugh, I've done a lot of packing this week - but I was only helping my sisters - one's going off to college, the other is redoing her room (that she has always shared with the one that's leaving).  Packing's not too bad, it's the fact that you know you're going to have to find a spot for everything once it's *un*packed.  :)

Oh, that's not a problem at all. I have a single which is actually a bit bigger than my room at home. And Steven's moving me in, which means he has to help me unpack & organise, which really means that I'll put stuff in the closet and make him fold everything and put them in the drawers because I can't fold worth a darn and he's 10x more domestic than I am. Oh, and he has to mess with the cords & cables and all that crap. And make my bed because I'm bad at that with a feather mattress pad & an eggcrate mattress thingy-ma-bobber. Wow. Sucks to be Steven.

I wish I had a nice sister who would help me pack. Heck, I'd settle for a sister who didn't hate my very existence. We could work on the nice part... maybe.

Get Jensen Ackles as your spokesman. More importantly, get him to post on the forum. I would never leave. Ever. I'd post all day long, about anything and everything, even things I don't like to talk about. Like computers and technology and cars. And throwing myself at him and making marriage proposals to him left & right... but I'll try to keep that to PM. Try being the key word.

Uhm. Yeah. That's my idea.

Or get a fan to come over to my house and pack for me. Anyone willing? Anybody? I've got cookies and ice cream and lots of alcohol. No one can turn down cookies, ice cream and alcohol. That's biologically impossible.

(The joy of Steve not being online! I can take breaks! And not pack! And he's none the wiser! No stern lectures about packing! Blissful, blissful procrastination with cookies & milk! And no packing!)

Getting on it is my specialty. Actually my specialty is putting off getting on it.

Your specialty is nagging me to do stuff. Mine is nagging you to do stuff. It's fun.

Now, with this new forum will I actually be able to put in a signature now? Because I put one on and it didn't show up on the old one and I don't want to bother trying again if it's not going to work.

Go figure. I post a message about this and then an entirely new thread gets started after mine. I see how it is.  :raspberry:

Remember that lovely error message we used to get over at Nuklear when posting? I just got it here. Obviously the post still went through, but just thought I should let you know. So, uh, Steven can get on that.

...I don't jump or get startled much at movies, but they managed to get me quite a bit.

This does not bode well for Steven's leg.

And I cannot even begin to look at the Hefeweizen or India Pale Ale themes. I get sharp pains in my head and my vision gets really blurry. I think they give me vertigo or a seizure or something. The design is not Lindsay-friendly. :(
