I'm currently watching The Office, which is premiring after The Apprentice.  The concept of the show can basicaly be summed up thusly:

"Let's make this show.  We can make it like office space, only instead of having it be a witty and comedic satire on office life, it can instead be totally fake and not funny at all.  People will love that."

Yup. Don't waste your time watching.

Ah.

It was horrible. I laughed once.  The rest was just mind-numbing torture.  It didn't even resemble funny.  THe part I laughed at was the intern/temp guy cracking a joke about the jello mould with the stapler in it (Okay, so the mould was amusing).

Apparently the british version is quite good, the dvd set of it has been popular here. Making americans butcher it.

Ah. Apparently critics are hailing the american show as uhm.. a bunch of good things.  But I think those are fabricated critics.  They're made in Michigan.

Man... does that mean the people in Michigan are fictitious as well?

Katherine's going to be upset...

Yes, my two-week trip there was merely a result of psychotropic drugs administered by a shady character in a Denny's in Minneapolis. *nods*
