Posting this mainly because I am at work testing our compatibility with various blog engines and stumbled across it and want to remember it, but also because matt might find it interesting.

Good quote about science and religion co-existing:

"Religion needs science to keep it away from superstition and keep it close to reality, to protect it from creationism, which at the end of the day is a kind of paganism - it's turning God into a nature god. And science needs religion in order to have a conscience, to know that, just because something is possible, it may not be a good thing to do."

Are there any religions out there that say that religion & science can't coexist or enhance understanding of the other? I'm sure there are, but off the top of my head I can't think of any.
